Trussville, AL (November 11, 2020) – Officers from the Trussville Police Department reported to the scene of a multi-car accident along Highway 11 on Monday, November 9th that caused injuries to four people.
According to initial reports, police pulled over a car on South Chalkville Road at about 10:00 a.m. and found that two people inside the vehicle had warrants. The driver then fled from the officers, speeding down Highway 11 and ran the red light near the shopping center on Roosevelt Boulevard.
The fleeing vehicle collided with another car turning onto the roadway and then crashed into other cars that were waiting at the light.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
