Vehicle Collisions in Montgomery
Collision statistics show that, for the past few years, Alabama’s rate of accident fatalities has routinely been higher than the countrywide average. This is partially due to the fact that slightly more than half of the state’s victim fatalities are vehicle occupants who were not wearing their seatbelts.
Several thousand victims endure hospitalizations every year across the state for treatment of serious injuries such as broken and fractured bones, spinal cord damage, neck injuries, and traumatic injuries to the brain. In most instances, victims urgently need medical assistance and must spend weeks in a hospital under a doctor’s supervision. Many victims, after being released, have to suffer through months of painful physical therapy.
Even though we would like to believe that every person is able to recover from their injuries, thousands of people sustain injuries that leave them permanently disabled. The mental, physical, and financial consequences of accidents are often overwhelming for victims and their families.
