Cullman Co, AL – Fatality in Five-Car Pile-Up on I-65
Cullman Co, AL (October 11, 2020) – Local law enforcement officers have identified a woman who was killed during a five-car pile-up in Cullman County on Friday, October 9th.
32-year-old Kristin Hudson Cohn, a resident of LaGrange, Georgia, died when the 2004 Mazda MVP in which she was a passenger was hit by a 2008 GMC Yukon.
The accident took place when the Mazda hit a car in the southbound lane before swerving across the median where it collided with the Yukon. Cohn, who was in the front passenger seat and not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of each vehicle and one young passenger all sustained injuries and were transported via ambulances to local medical facilities. The occupants of the other three vehicles were unharmed during the collision.
No further details are available as authorities continue to investigate.
