All kinds of driver negligence play a part in pedestrian-involved accidents. People who walk or ride bikes frequently sustain injuries at intersections, where motorists neglect to notice them crossing at a crosswalk. Some causes of pedestrian-involved accidents include neglecting to stop for a stop sign or a red light, driving under the influence, turning into an intersection without checking for pedestrians in the crosswalk, and distractions like talking or texting on a cellphone.
In any claim that involved a pedestrian accident, your attorney will need to conduct a meticulous investigation in order to establish negligence and hold the right person accountable for your damages.
