Brighton, AL – Karen Jean Hickley Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Bessemer Super Hwy
Brighton, AL (October 19, 2020) – On Saturday, October 17th, 57-year-old Karen Jean Hickley, a resident of Birmingham, died after being struck by a car along Bessemer Super Highway.
The accident took place at about 6:25 p.m.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Hickley dead on the scene after she was struck down by a passing motorist in the 4700 block of Bessemer Super Highway, in the city of Brighton.
The coroner reported that the driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with officers in regards to the incident.
This accident is currently under investigation by officers from the Brighton Police Department.
