Fatal Car Accidents in Prattville
Alabama requires liability insurance in the amount of $25,000 per person for =bodily injury or death, $50,000 for bodily injury or death per accident, and $25,000 for property damage.
This gives victims and drivers a substantial amount of protection should they be involved in a car accident. Truthfully, however, the more serious your injuries are, the more costly they will be to treat and these predetermined amounts may not cover everything.
Alabama does not offer personal injury protection insurance, and it follows a system of contributory negligence. In other words, if you are determined to be even 1% responsible for the accident, you forfeit your right to financial compensation.
Even though we would like to believe that every person is able to recover from their injuries, thousands of people sustain injuries that leave them permanently disabled. The mental, physical, and financial consequences of accidents are often overwhelming for victims and their families.
