Montgomery, AL – Pedestrian Identified In Fatal Crash On West South Blvd
Montgomery, AL (November 4, 2020) – A pedestrian who was struck and killed in a collision with a motor vehicle on West South Boulevard has been identified by Montgomery Police.
The incident occurred around 11:00 pm Friday night when a 2007 Chevy Silverado traveling East on West South Boulevard struck a victim. Montgomery Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a pedestrian with fatal injuries.
The deceased victim has now been identified by Montgomery police as 23-year-old Nakeya Brunson. Brunson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck that hit Brunson, whose identity has not yet been released, sustained no injuries in the accident.
The investigation by Montgomery Police remains ongoing at this time. No charges have been filed against the driver of the truck.
