Construction Accident in Newton County Ends in Tragedy

A construction accident on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Newton County resulted in three workers plunging into the Yellow River. The incident occurred when a bridge that was being demolished collapsed on Access Road. Sadly, Demario Battle, one of the construction workers involved in the accident, lost his life.
